Middle-class parents are also efficient in raising their child with not surplus but minimum resources. But for the working class or labor class, it is a great challenge. They live on daily wages. It is difficult for them to support their life with basic needs and it is more difficult to provide for them the sufficient resources, as a result, their children are not healthy compared to a lower class or middle class and are malnourished.

Parenting Tips

There are parenting principles that can lead to good parenting.

1. Be kind and firm

One should also teach his child morals, values, and principles of what is right and what is wrong. Don't be a strict parent. Be gentle and kind while teaching them discipline. Don't force your limits and rules. The responsibility even becomes tough when the child is in his teens. During this stage, the children hate restrictions even for little things. They wanted to lead their own life. At this stage, you are expected to be patient and courteous. Try to be friendly with them.

2. Love and convey it

Caring is the best way to shower your love. Giving your precious time is the biggest gift you can give them. And if you are a working parent spending time with kids becomes more necessary as you can afford to give a very little amount of time. Cuddling them, playing with them, feeding with your hands are little ways to express your emotion. People often say loving a child too much can spoil them. This is not true in either way. Instead, they get spoiled by fulfilling all their demands and expectations with materialistic and expensive things.

3. Get involved in their life

Only caring for them is not enough. Getting connected to their life watching their day-to-day activities is a tedious task. It means setting aside your work and prioritize your child. But you can't ignore your other stuff. Rather, monitor your work and all the activities of your kid.

4. Be a good figure

Your child will not understand and listen to you. They don't follow your words. They simply follow your actions. They imitate your actions and keep a watch on your activity. This is the best time to shape your child in the way you like. Raise them with empathy, positivity, and a great attitude. If you cannot be a good role model in their early childhood, you will have a tough time managing when they will grow up and have to lead a life individually.

5. Don't be too restrictive

If you cannot be too permissive, you cannot be too restrictive. If you don't want to allow them for certain things, give reasons behind them. You can't say "No". You cannot set rules and regulations. Be flexible. When they become adults, it is more difficult to explain the consequences. You appear an enemy to them. Teaching discipline with such a restrictive approach is not permissible. With such behavior, they become aggressive and stubborn and develop a feeling of anger. Fearing their errors they even lie to you to avoid punishment. This will surely leave a bad impression on their soft heart.

6. Treat them with honor

We receive what we give. Respectfully treat them and you will be honored with the same. Don't scold them in front of anyone. Explain to them when no one is around. Don't humiliate and treat with kindness. While making them grow, you are simultaneously preparing another parent. He will give his children the kind of treatment that he gets from you. Your behavior is the basis of your relations. If they are in their late teens, allow them to take part in family discussions and household works. Take little steps in raising them.

7. Appreciate them

Appreciate them for little things like drawing, studies. Play with them. Never compare your kids with other kids or their siblings. They will never like it. This will develop a negative mindset. In making them better, you are actually mentally destroying them. Talk with experts who are professionals in parenting. Develop a healthy and positive relationship and a happy environment at home. You reap what you sow. We want to raise our children in a way so they stand apart from others.
